Key Accountabilities

• The Business Analyst works closely with the product owner by understanding the customer pain points and product owner vision, and completes the compilation of the user stories.
• The Business Analyst will have a good knowledge of many system rules and dependencies that are implemented in organization. This is complementary to the knowledge of the product owner (which will be less technical)
• The Business Analyst will perform desk checks with the delivery team to ensure that the team understands the story and is on the right track.
• The Business Analyst must be skilled in writing stories, decomposing large stories into smaller stories and indicating story dependencies.

Experience

• 3+ years commercial experience and previously held a role on an Agile team
• Excellent communication skills and has the ability to work collaboratively with development team
• Good facilitation skills

Purpose of the job

• The Business Analyst is a team member that is skilled in eliciting and communicating information to enable delivery
• The Business Analyst works closely with the product owner by understanding the customer pain points and product owner vision, and completes the compilation of the user stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Knowledge

• Compile user stories
• Analyze existing IT landscape for needed information
• Communicate the vision of the user story alongside the Product Owner
• Have an understanding of both technology stacks and business domains
