Physical persons

• - Identity card for Rwandese, passport copy for foreigners or copy attestation immatriculation

• - Small size photo

• - Minimum deposit of Rwf 10,000 or equivalent in foreign currency

Legal entities

• - Letter of request for opening current account

• - Copy of Memorandum and articles of incorporation/association authenticated by a notary

• - Minutes of Board of directors/board resolution authenticated by a notary

• - Copy of trade license/certificate of incorporation

• - Minimum deposit of Rwf 10,000 or equivalent in foreign currency

• - Copy of ID of authorised signatories + small size photos

Diplomatic missions and consular

• - Letter of request for opening current account signed by the Ambassador or Chancellor of the Embassy

• - Copy of Passport of the authorised signatories+ small size photos

Non Profit Organisations

• - Letter of request to open current account

• - Copies of Memorandum and Articles of Association authenticated by a notary

• - Order that gives consent to a Non profit organisation

• - Letter mentioning the authorised signatories, the first must be duly signed by a representative appointed by the Memorandum and Articles of Association

• - Copies of ID cards or passport of the authorised signatories + small size photos

• - Minimum deposit of Rwf 10,000 or equivalent in foreign currency
